Hunting season is here since we have been hearing practice gunshots on occasion. We would like to remind our members to wear bright clothing around your property, when walking in the forest and on the road.
New Garbage pick up day for Pontiac residents
As of last August 14th, the weekly garbage pick up day was moved to Thursday for Pontiac residents along Chemin du Lac des Loups. A note was left on the bin if you had it out. There was no mention of this on their website. I contacted Pontiac municipality public works to confirm the change.…

2022 water testing results
Bob and Brême lake results were good however Ruthledge showed concerning levels phosphates which can lead algal blooms. Algal blooms can become a nuisance or potentially harmful. Some cyanobacteria can produce toxins that pose a risk to human and animal health. Therefore, it is important for all cottagers to limit the amount of phosphorus contributed to our lakes.…
