Water contamination?Unknown White Foam

It has come to the BBR Association’s attention that, recently, the stream coming from Lac Bob and flowing into Lac Breme contained a large amount of white foam. This was observed particularly where the stream passes under the bridge at the junction of chemin Lac Breme and chemin Lac Bob (please see photos herein).

This foamy water may be a source of contamination or a natural occurrence, however, further investigation and monitoring is required. Members are invited to communicate with the Association with any information relevant to this matter.

The Association would also like to take this opportunity to encourage all cottage owners to be mindful that they are not allowing contaminants to enter our lake system.
