CPR and First Aid Courses

Given the remote location of our BBR lakes, time can be our worst enemy while waiting for the arrival of Paramedics in certain critical emergency situations. Accordingly, the BBR Association is offering a CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and basic First Aid course to our residents. The course is 4 hours duration with no certification (no exam) to provide our members with the essentials of CPR and basic First Aid actions while waiting for Paramedic personnel to arrive on site. The course will be offered by a Certified Red Cross representative on 17 August 2019 (English session 8:00-12:00 AM followed by French session 2:00-5:00 PM) at the Lac des Loup library located in the village of Lac des Loups. The cost is 55 $ per participants. All those interested must register and pay before July 30, 2019. Registration will be available at the AGM/Annual Picnic on July 27.
